I've been doing private contract work almost 10 years but prior to that I was a Lead Computer Technician at Utah State University for 11 and at Blood Systems Inc as a Desktop/Server Administrator and Support Specialist for almost 12.

Over the course of 8 weeks Devon turned my raw word document into the professional manuscript that became my book and I'm delighted with the outcome.
Devon has a solid knowledge of KDP, the process and how the system works which was super-helpful to a newbie along with a 'can-do', calm approach, even when, at the final preview I spotted another typo I'd somehow missed!

This is an updated review to share that, not only has Devon Whitney provided top-notch website support, but I also engaged him from a publishing-standpoint to support my book-writing initiative. As a result, I walked away with a published book in summer 2024 that went on to become an Amazon bestseller!

I preface this with, for those who haven’t created a website or written a book baring your soul and work to the masses on both counts, it can all feel overwhelming. Enter Devon, whom I can’t speak highly enough of my experience working with him and putting me at ease on many levels as I overhauled my outdated website and then, later, enlisting his help in navigating the Amazon book publishing process. This recommendation comes after a few occasions engaging his tech and related support, and I’ve been WOWED by his level of detail and swift responsiveness in each interaction.

I’m fairly tech-savvy, and while I’ve been able to edit my website for the most part, there were some things I simply couldn’t work through and engaged him to fluidly navigate/create on my behalf, cutting things down for me time-wise – and by extension reducing my stress levels along the way. One example of an item I tasked him with was putting a detailed pricing table together for my services page, and after providing me a couple of options established a customized table specific to what I was looking for. And nailed to perfection.

Devon was readily accessible via phone, zoom call or simply via email exchange for my questions. Even working at times off the clock to research solutions to get me to where I needed to be (and share this specifically to make the point of, he is the last person to ever “gouge” a client whereas I know firsthand of others who might treat their client work differently).

My website is up and running, already has received positive feedback and know I’ll be making more updates shortly. And now, with the logistics of my book publication behind me and receipt of copies for me to distribute myself, thanks in large part to his help, I can now focus on other things knowing that, thankfully, I have a “go-to” person and have already started passing his name along in the hopes of him seeing well-deserved referrals.
